Grading Periods

Grading periods refer to the start and end dates for quarters, trimesters, or semesters. They are separate from terms. It is important to enter grading periods, even if terms have already been set up in Classe365. Accurately setting up grading periods is essential for efficiently using Grade books and Report Cards.

This feature grants administrators the ability to manage the visibility of report cards and grade books for students and parents. Please be advised that this option is exclusively limited to the academic session selected in the top menu. Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)

CCE is an innovative method that utilizes assessments to motivate students and offer feedback for enhancing their learning. It encompasses all aspects of student growth, including cognitive, emotional, physical, cultural, and social development. CCE assesses various learning outcomes, such as recall, comprehension, evaluation, analysis, and creativity. Teachers utilize CCE to identify students' weaknesses and guide them in addressing any issues. Additionally, CCE provides families with a framework to support their child's academic and emotional well-being by identifying strengths and weaknesses. Instead of a single high-pressure final exam, CCE involves multiple low-stakes checks, creating a less stressful environment for students to grow and prepare for life beyond academics.

Read more on CCE at the documentation below:

After configuring the "Grade Setup" it is time to add assessments, and capture scores.

On the other hand, unpublished assessment scores will be hidden from the students and parents while the admin/teacher is still grading the assessments.

Often times the admin would need to lock the assessments once the grades have been captured to prevent updates into the scores by the teachers/other admin staff. In this case, the admin can simply lock the assessments, so no further updates can be made to such assessments. However, unlocked assessment scores can be modified in the gradebook.

3) Linking Assessments

The link action button will be displayed in each assessment list, only if the assessment has been applied to "All Subjects of Particular Class/Section" or "Individual Subjects" while adding the assessment.
