CCE is a modern approach that uses assessments to motivate students and provide feedback to improve their learning. It covers all aspects of a student's growth, including their thinking abilities, emotions, physical development, cultural background, and social skills. CCE evaluates different learning outcomes, such as remembering information, understanding concepts, analyzing information, and being creative. Teachers use CCE to identify areas where students may need extra help and guide them in addressing any challenges. Additionally, CCE offers families a framework to support their child's academic and emotional well-being by identifying their strengths and areas for improvement.

Here are the steps involved in creating CCE for subjects in Classe365.

STEP-1: Go to Assessment & Grading Module

Go to Modules > Student Information System > Assessment & Grading Module

Once you are in this module, head over to "Grade Setup" tab and "Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)".

On the right pane, the system will list the academic's hierarchy.

To add a new subject sub-category, select the Class, Section, Subject, and enter the "Sub-category Name".

Once adding the subject sub-categories for CCE, the next step is to configure the assessments.

STEP-2: Enabling CCE in the Assessments

Go to Assessments tab, and click on "โž• Add" to add an assessment. Key in all the information that's mandatory, and click on "Show more options" to get to CCE settings.

Enable "CCE" to the assessment that needs to be graded individually.

The next step is to capture scores to CCE subjects.

STEP-3: Capture Grades

To capture scores to the CCE assessments, go to Gradebook, and filter the "Class/Section, and Subject" to grade. On the assessment cells you'll need to click on the "grid-icon" to capture scores to the CCE subjects.

Clicking on that will display the subject sub-category list.

The final scores will always be the average of all the sub-categories.
