The Insights & Analytics module replaces the legacy Reports module, offering unified data visualization, cross-module analytics, pre-built report templates, and a custom report builder
1. Accessing Insights & Analytics
To access Insights module:
Click Modules in the top navigation bar.
Select Administration from the left-hand menu.
Click Insights under the Reports section.
2. Navigating the Insights Workspace
Once inside, use the left sidebar menu to navigate between four core features:
Executive Overview
The default dashboard view displaying high-level institutional health metrics and rolling trends for the current academic session.
Key Metrics Cards: Quick insights into Total Enrollment, Attendance Rate, Fee Collection, and Pass Rate.
Performance Trends: Visual graphs displaying rolling 12-month trends for enrollments, monthly average attendance, and fee collection totals.
Cross-Module Insights
Aggregated operational data providing deep visibility into institutional trends:
Cohort Outcomes: Overview of student completion rates categorized by class and section.
Admission Funnel: Enrollment tracking based on submission activity from created intake forms.
Engagement Tracking: Activity logging identifying students, teachers, administrators, and parents who logged in within the last 30 days.
Reports Library
A repository containing all standard pre-built reports and exported data files.
Search & Filter: Find reports quickly using the top search bar or categories (Academics, Attendance, Class Time Table, Fees, Health Records, Assessment, Library).
Exporting Data: Default standard reports download instantly. Reports requiring custom range parameters prompt a filter wizard before downloading.

Create custom dynamic reports tailored to specific metrics and dimensions.
Steps to Build a Custom Report:
Pick a Metric: Select primary metrics such as Total Enrollment, Attendance Rate, Fees Collection, or Pass Rate.
Break Down By: Group the metric by Grade, Grade - Division, or Month.
Chart Type: Choose visual formatting (Bar, Line, or Pie chart).
Period: Set the date range (up to a 6-month limit per query).
Click Generate to render the preview, or click Export to download the raw data file.
