Quiz Session is a convenient tool feature allows students to begin and finish quizzes on one device. The system will create a special access session tokens for each quiz, and when a student starts a quiz, the code will be saved for that device. If the student tries to log in from a different device and continue the quiz, the system will prevent them from doing so because the access code has already been generated on another device. This feature will prevent any misconduct, such as other students taking the quiz for the actual students, and the device IP address and the user information is stored and shared with the admin/teachers.

STEP-1: Enabling Quiz Session

To enable quiz sessions, go to Learning Management System > Select Subject > Edit Quiz

Go to Advanced > Quiz Session > Enable

By enabling this setting, it guarantees that a user can only have one active session for a quiz at any given time. This means that the quiz can only be accessed on one device, preventing multiple sessions from occurring simultaneously.

If there is an interruption in internet connection or a device malfunction, the user will need to reach out to the admin/teacher to continue the quiz. The admin/teacher will then need to manually deactivate the active session from the quiz result screen, allowing the user to resume the quiz. Follow the step below to find out how to reset the session.

STEP-2: Resetting Quiz Sessions

By resetting the quiz session, the teacher/admin staff will let the student continue quizzes from another device.

To do so, go to Results tab, and click on Quiz Session button.

Click on "Revoke Session" to reset the access for student.

And let the student continue quizzes from where they stopped, or start the quiz from fresh.
