Classe365 provides badges as a modern means of recognizing students' achievements, capabilities, and proficiency in various academic disciplines. Within the realm of education, a badge serves as a tangible representation of a student's acquired aptitude or accomplishment, which can be readily shared with others.

Badge-based learning is a modern teaching method that uses badges to recognize and reward student progress. Students earn badges for mastering specific skills, knowledge, or competencies, which are then displayed on their profile as a record of their achievements. This approach involves setting clear learning goals and criteria for earning badges. Students have chances to practice and apply their skills in different situations, while educators or mentors closely monitor and evaluate their progress. When students demonstrate proficiency in a skill or area of knowledge, they receive a badge to proudly display and share with others.

Firstly, these badges act as a strong motivator for students, instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment in their academic progress. They serve as a tangible representation of their hard work and encourage them to strive towards their academic goals.

Secondly, badges also provide a platform for recognizing students' achievements, not just limited to academic success but also encompassing non-academic skills like leadership, creativity, and collaboration. This recognition can greatly boost students' self-esteem and inspire them to further enhance their skills and knowledge.

To generate badges, an active LMS module is required as badge based learning is integrated into the Learning Management System.

Go to Modules > Learning Management System > Badges

The badge's module includes 18 badges by default. To create a personalized badge, simply select the "➕ Create Badge" button.

Upload an image, give it a name, and description and a badge is created.

Students in Classe365 can be awarded badges in various locations. Let's take a closer look at how to award badges efficiently.

From "Badges" module, the teacher/admin can award the student a badge by clicking on "Award Badge" button.

Choose the student group, select the students, add any comments, and then submit. The badge will be given to the selected students.

The Learning Management System is integrated with the SIS, this means the badges can be awarded for students in the student module.

Go to Modules > Students

Badges can be awarded at "Academic Session Based", "Class/Section Based", or "Subject Based" by choosing the filter in the student module.

Select the badge, give a remark and click on submit to award the badge.

The teachers/admins can easily award a student a badge from the LMS module's "Badges" section.

Go to Modules > Learning Management System.

From Badges tab, click on "Award Badge" button to award a student badge.

The admins/teachers can view the student achievements from multiple places.

Go to Badges module in the Learning Management System and click on "View All Awards" to view all the students with a specific badge.

The LMS module is integrated with the "Badges" module, to view the badges, go to Badges tab, and the system will list the students with badges awarded.

Admin/teachers and student/parents can view the badges awarded from the "Student Profile".
