Classe365's Conditional logic in CRM form is a powerful tool that allows you to create dynamic and personalized forms for your schools/website. With conditional logics, you can show or hide certain form fields based on the applicant's input, making the form more user-friendly and efficient.

Why use conditional logics?

Conditional logics can greatly improve the user experience of your forms. By showing only relevant form fields, you can make the form less overwhelming and easier to navigate. This can also reduce the chances of applicants abandoning the form due to its complexity.

Additionally, conditional logics can help you collect more accurate and relevant data. By hiding unnecessary form fields, you can ensure that users only fill out the fields that are relevant to them. This can also save time for both the applicant and the form creator.

How do conditional logics work?

Conditional logics work by setting rules that determine when a form field should be shown or hidden. These rules are based on the applicant's input in other form fields. For example, you can set a rule that says if the user selects "Yes" in a checkbox, then a specific form field will be shown. If the user selects "No," then the form field will be hidden.

Example Use Case

Example: Applicant is asked to submit the "Present Address" and "Permanent Address" in their application form.

If the "Present Address" is same as "Permanent Address" then, we'll need to hide the fields of Permanent Address as the applicant will enter redundant values.

Working with Conditional Logic

Once you have accessed the conditional logic feature, you can start setting rules for each form field. You can choose from a variety of conditions, such as "equals," "contains," "greater than," and more. You can also set multiple rules for each form field to create more complex conditional logics.

  1. Go to Conditional Logic tab in any CRM Forms, and click on "βž• Add Condition".

2. Classe365 supports 2 type of logics:

  • Show/Hide Fields - will update the visibility of the fields based on the logic configured.

  • Enable/Require Fields - will update validation rule (required or published) based on the logic configured.

3. Show/Hide Fields - The "Show/Hide Fields" feature allows you to update the visibility of certain fields based on the logic that you have configured. This means that you can choose which fields are visible to your users based on specific conditions or rules that you have set up.

4. Enable/Require Fields - This feature allows you to update the validation rule for a field, either by making it required or published, based on the logic that you have configured.

5. Editing Conditional Logic Steps: Once you have built the conditional logic, you'll be able to edit, move or hide visibility of each of the conditions you have set.

Conclusion

Conditional logics are a valuable tool for creating dynamic and user-friendly forms. By using them, you can improve the user experience, collect more accurate data, and save time for both the user and the form creator. Remember to use conditional logics wisely and regularly review and update them for the best results.
