In the usual assessment set-up, the overall score of each Assessment Category is calculated by taking the average of all the individual scores for a student's assessment. This means that each individual score is added together and then divided by the total number of scores. For example, if a student has four separate assessments with scores of 80, 90, 85, and 95, the overall score would be calculated by (80+90+85+95)/4 = 87.5.

If you would like to assign a weight to each Assessment, you can request our customer support team to enable this option for you. This will allow for a "weight" feature to be included when adding assessments.
