Prerequisites
An active Administrator account in Classe365.
A spreadsheet containing the list of target Student IDs / Admission Numbers.
Warning: Deleting student records is permanent and will remove associated academic and financial data. If you wish to preserve historical records, use the Move to Alumni option instead.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1) Extract Student IDs
Open your spreadsheet containing the target student records.
Select and copy the entire column of Student IDs / Admission Numbers.
2) Format IDs as a Comma-Separated List
Open a text delimiter tool such as delim.co (or format directly in Excel using
=TEXTJOIN(",", TRUE, range)).
Paste the copied IDs into the input box.
Set the delimiter to a comma (,) and generate the list.
Copy the resulting comma-separated string (e.g., STU001, STU002, STU003).
3) Filter Records in Classe365
Log in to your Classe365 admin portal.
Navigate to Modules > Students.
Locate the search/filter bar and select Student ID (or Admission Number).
Paste your comma-separated list into the filter field and apply the search.
4) Adjust Display Pagination
Scroll down to the bottom of the student list.
Change the records-per-page dropdown to the maximum limit (e.g., 100 or 500) so all filtered records display on a single page.
5) Perform Bulk Action
Check the master Select All checkbox at the top-left of the table header.
Click the Actions / Bulk Actions menu:
To preserve records: Select Move to Alumni (Recommended).
To erase records permanently: Select Delete and confirm the prompt (Not Recommended).
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What happens if my list contains more than the maximum page limit?
Filter the full list, process the first visible page, then proceed to the next page to repeat the bulk action until all records are processed.
Can deleted students be recovered?
No. Once deleted, records cannot be restored. Always export a data backup before performing mass deletions.
