🔐 Classe365 Security Enhancement: Multi-Factor Authentication

Written by Ashley Cooper

Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Classe365 account by requiring a 6-digit verification code whenever you sign in with your username and password.

Navigating to MFA Settings

  1. Log in to your Classe365 account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top header and select My Account.

  3. From the left sidebar menu, select Two-Factor Authentication.

Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication

MFA is enabled by default, if the admin prefer to disable it follow the steps below.

  1. In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click the Turn on two-factor authentication button.

  2. Confirm your verification destinations under Where We Send Your Code:

    • Email (Primary): The primary code delivery method sent to your registered email address.

    • SMS (Fallback): Used to receive a code via text message if the email cannot be delivered.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompt to verify a code sent to your device to finalize setup. Once activated, the status badge at the top right will display On.

Sign-In Flow: When signing in, enter your username and password. You will receive a 6-digit code via email (or SMS fallback). Enter this code within 2 minutes to access your dashboard

Disabling Multi-Factor Authentication

⚠️ Security Notice: Two-Factor Authentication is strongly recommended to protect your account from unauthorized access. Disabling it makes your account vulnerable if your password is compromised.

  1. Go to My Account > Two-Factor Authentication.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

  3. Click the red Turn off two-factor authentication button.

  4. Confirm the prompt to turn off the feature. The status badge will update to show that 2FA is deactivated.

Managing & Terminating Active Sessions (Trusted Browsers)

Classe365 remembers devices you have verified so you do not have to enter a code on every sign-in from that browser. If you lose a device, suspect unauthorized access, or want to force a re-login:

  1. Navigate to My Account > Two-Factor Authentication.

  2. Scroll down to the Trusted Browsers section.

  3. Review the list of active sessions, which details:

    • Browser & OS: e.g., Windows NT 10.0; Chrome/154.0

    • Badge: Marks the current device ("This browser")

    • Session Details: Added date, expiration date, and IP address

  4. To terminate an active session, click the Trash icon (🗑️) located on the right side of the device entry.

  5. The session will be revoked immediately, requiring a new password and MFA code to sign in from that browser.
