How to Manage Parent Details and Distribute Username & Password to Parents?

Here are few steps that describe how to distribute username and password to parents and manage parents.

Parent users are part of student attributes in Classe365, while adding the student information along with the following parent information, a parent record is created, and the student is mapped with the parent automatically.

  • Father Name (Field ID: father_name)

  • Mother Name (Field ID: mother_name)

  • Parents Contact (Field ID: parents_contact)

  • Parents Email (Field ID: parents_email)

If there are two or more students with the same parents_contact and parents_email, then they are auto mapped as siblings.

How to View the Parents Details?

Login to Classe365 as an admin staff, and head over to "Modules > Student Information System > Parents".

Click on the "โ„น๏ธ" button to view the parent details along with the child/children details.

The students associated with this parent record will be displayed here.


2) Inviting/Re-inviting the Parents

This option allows the administrators to invite a new parent to access the portal, sending a login invitation email with the credentials.

a) To invite/re-invite through email

Click the icon above corresponding to the parent to be invited/re-invited using an email.

b) To invite/re-invite through SMS

Click the icon above corresponding to the parent to be invited/re-invited through SMS.

Note: To invite a student for the first time, the username and the login credentials have to be created first.

c) Bulk Invites

To send invites to all the parents in a single instance, click the Select All checkbox and click Bulk Action Menu > Invite via Email/SMS/WhatsApp
