To ensure a fast, reliable, and consistent experience for every customer, AI features are provided under this AI Fair Usage Policy.
This policy exists to protect shared AI resources, prevent misuse, and ensure that all institutions continue to enjoy high-quality AI services.
The vast majority of institutions will never be affected by this policy during normal day-to-day usage.
What is Fair Usage?
Fair usage means using AI as part of the normal educational and administrative activities within your institution.
Typical examples include:
Teaching & Learning
Creating lesson plans
Developing course content
Generating quizzes and assessments
Producing marking rubrics
AI-assisted grading and feedback
Student learning assistance
Summarising learning materials
Admissions & CRM
Drafting personalised emails
Creating marketing content
Responding to enquiries
Generating follow-up communications
Assisting admissions teams
Administration
Writing announcements
Drafting policies and procedures
Creating reports
Improving written communication
Summarising documents
AI Agent Automation
Using AI Agents to automate institutional workflows such as:
Student onboarding
Admissions workflows
Lead qualification
Student support
Administrative approvals
Cross-module workflow automation
Productivity enhancements
These activities are considered normal institutional use and are covered under this policy.
What is Not Considered Fair Usage?
The Fair Usage Policy is designed to prevent abuse—not legitimate educational use.
Examples of excessive or inappropriate usage include:
Running scripts or bots that continuously generate AI requests.
Bulk-generating thousands of AI responses without meaningful user interaction.
Using Classe365 as a general-purpose AI platform unrelated to educational or institutional workflows.
Attempting to bypass system safeguards or usage controls.
Sharing user accounts to increase AI usage.
Creating excessive automated requests that negatively impact platform performance.
Using AI features in violation of the Classe365 Terms of Service or applicable laws.

AI Agent Automation
AI Agents extend the capabilities of Classe365 by automating multi-step institutional workflows.
Examples include:
Processing admissions
Responding to enquiries
Routing requests to staff
Following up with prospective students
Assisting administrators
Managing repetitive workflows
Performing cross-module tasks
Normal institutional automation is fully supported under this Fair Usage Policy.
However, AI Agents intentionally configured to create excessive, repetitive, or unnecessary AI requests—or to perform activities unrelated to legitimate institutional operations—may be reviewed under this policy.
Why Doesn't Classe365 Publish Fixed AI Limits?
AI workloads vary significantly.
A simple email may require only a small amount of AI processing, while analysing a lengthy assessment or executing a multi-step AI Agent workflow may require substantially more computing resources.
For this reason, fixed request or token limits often do not reflect real-world usage.
Instead, Classe365 evaluates AI usage holistically to ensure fairness while allowing institutions to take full advantage of AI capabilities.
Typical AI Resource Usage
AI Capability | Typical Resource Usage |
Writing assistance (emails, announcements, messages) | 🟢 Low |

How We Assess Fair Usage
Rather than applying rigid request or token limits, Classe365 considers the overall pattern of AI usage.
Factors we may consider include:
Whether usage reflects normal educational or administrative activities.
The overall volume and frequency of AI requests.
Whether requests are generated by users or automated systems.
Whether AI Agent workflows are appropriately designed for legitimate institutional purposes.
The impact of usage on shared platform resources.
Whether usage aligns with the intended use of the Classe365 platform.
This flexible approach allows us to continue improving our AI capabilities without requiring customers to monitor technical quotas.
What Happens if We Detect Unusually High Usage?
If AI usage is significantly higher than normal institutional patterns, we generally follow these steps.
1. Review
We review the activity to determine whether the usage represents legitimate institutional activity or unusually high automated demand.
2. Contact
If necessary, our Customer Success or Support team will contact your institution to better understand your requirements.
3. Recommend the Best Solution
Where sustained high-volume AI usage is identified, we may recommend:
Additional AI capacity
AI Usage Add-ons
A higher subscription plan
Enterprise AI options
A customised AI allocation
Our objective is to help your institution continue using AI effectively while maintaining a reliable experience for all customers.
Will AI Stop Working?
In almost every situation, no.
If unusually high usage is detected, we aim to work collaboratively with your institution before applying any restrictions.
Temporary limits may only be introduced where excessive usage, abuse, or automation significantly affects the stability or performance of the platform.
Best Practices
To get the most value from AI:
Use AI to support genuine educational and administrative activities.
Review AI-generated content before publishing or sharing it.
Design AI Agent workflows that solve real institutional challenges.
Avoid unnecessary repeated requests.
Contact our team if you anticipate unusually large AI projects or enterprise-scale automation.
